Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Who handles refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Polar Software, Inc. (3500 South DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901, USA). Polar is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: you buy from Polar, while the right to use the Service is licensed to you by us under these Terms. Polar handles billing enquiries and refunds, and calculates and collects any applicable taxes. Polar's own buyer terms and privacy policy also apply to your purchase.

You can request a refund either through Polar (using the receipt e-mail you receive after purchase, or the customer portal linked from the app) or by writing to us at support@thumblaunch.com — we will pass the request on.

2. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason.

Credits and subscription access are digital content supplied immediately. When you buy, you are asked to confirm that you want performance to begin at once and that you acknowledge losing the right of withdrawal once the content has been supplied. That loss applies to the part you have already used — see the next section for what we do in practice.

3. What we refund in practice

  • Credits you have not used: we refund them in full within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. When a refund is issued, the corresponding credits are removed from your balance — a refund returns the money, not the credits.
  • Credits you have already used: these cannot be refunded, because the images have been generated and delivered to you.
  • A purchase made by mistake (wrong pack, duplicate charge, an accidental renewal you did not intend): tell us and we will sort it out, also after the 14 days.
  • A technical fault on our side that stopped you from using what you paid for: we refund it.

A note worth knowing: if a generation fails for a technical reason, the credits are returned to your balance automatically. You do not need to ask us for that.

4. Subscriptions

You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan and its credits stay active until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate a period that has already started, unless the law requires it or you cancelled because of a fault on our side.

Remember that subscription credits expire at the end of each billing period. Credits from one-time packs are not affected by cancelling a subscription — they remain on your account.

5. How long it takes

We aim to answer refund requests within 3 business days. Once approved, Polar returns the money to the original payment method; depending on your bank this usually takes a further 3 to 10 business days.

If something about a charge looks wrong, please contact us before opening a chargeback with your bank — it is almost always faster to fix it directly.
